Our team at the Shelter Chervonohrad project kicked off the autumn with an event for families—of course, on the Western Bug River, kayaking at the Kayak Tourism Center in Sokal
It was an atmospheric event featuring art therapy, intellectual games, breathing exercises, guitar music, kayaking, and delicious Cossack kulish. The Chervonohrad City Council’s “Warrior’s House” presented a film about our hero, Roman Kolyada.
Participants not only enjoyed relaxation and socializing but also learned effective methods for psychological relief and stress management.
Such “family picnics” are in high demand among Ukrainian families with children who have been living for three years in a state of tension and constant stress. That is why we invited, first and foremost, those families who have suffered the most from the war.
We thank everyone who helped organize the event on September 1 on the Western Bug River for the families of our young “Phoenixes”: IDPs, families of Heroes, and those waiting for their loved ones to return home:
